  • Dr. Nolan Porter

    Senior Pastor

    Rev. Dr. Nolan Porter was raised in the south Texas town of Pleasanton and met his wife Lisa while going to college and playing baseball at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. He went on to earn both his M.Div. and D.Min. from Logsdon Seminary. He has served as senior pastor, youth minister, and hospice chaplain in Texas and Missouri. Pastor Nolan and his wife Lisa have four children, Miles, London, Noah, and Harlow. Pastor Nolan began serving as Senior Pastor of University Heights on Easter Sunday 2020.

  • Chris Brammer

    Minister of Music

    An accomplished conductor, clinician, and educator, Christopher Brammer spent twelve years teaching music in public schools before leaving to serve as the Music Minister at University Heights Baptist Church in Springfield, MO. Chris received music degrees from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI, and from Missouri State University in Springfield. Chris resides in Springfield with his wife Amy, and three amazing children, Wyatt, Will, and Izzy, where he maintains an active schedule as a clinician, and is the Artistic Director of Springfield Chamber Chorus.

  • Abby Hathcock

    Minister of Children

    Abby grew up in Springfield as a pastor's kid. She is passionate about teaching and has served as the part-time Minister of Children since 2013. During the school year, she works as Assistant Principal of Bingham elementary in Springfield Public Schools.

  • Trey Hathcock

    Minister of Students and Media

    Trey grew up in Ava as a pastor's kid and never envisioned serving in the church. In 2013, God called Trey to full-time ministry at UHBC as the Minister of Students and Media, serving alongside his wife, Abby. In 2021, Trey transitioned to a part-time position, caring for the youth ministry and overseeing the tech and media.
